About the Space
Opened by star chef Traci Des Jardins in ‘97, Jardinière is as impressive today as it was twenty years ago. The Hayes Valley landmark has been sourcing seasonal ingredients from local farms since before it was trendy to do so, for a menu of fresh, perfectly-prepared French-California cuisine. The ambiance is just as spot-on: warm, elegant and impressive without trying too hard. In a city where something new is always coming along, there’s a reason Jardinière is still iconic.
